Eloli at the Africa Union

October was a busy month for us. In addition to finalising and showcasing our latest collection - Eteni (meaning balance) we got to participate in key discussions about the future of fashion at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The distinguished panelist’s included the Ethiopian Minister of Tourism; the Vice President of the African Parliament; the Nigerian Ambassador to Ethiopia; British Council Country and Regional Managers; and several other government and business delegates.
Out of these discussions came the committment of the Commissioner for Trade and Industry of the African Union Commission, H.E. Albert M. Muchanga, at the African Fashion Business Summit, to make fashion the focus of the 2024 African Union Private Sector Summit.
